Our History

Originally opened in the early 60’s as Craig Hill, a private club. In the early 70’s, it was renamed Deerfield. Our property has played host to thousands of weddings and special events through the years. By 2013, after 40+ years of continual use, the clubhouse needed a bit of TLC to bring it back to life. Now, a few years after its renovation, Deerfield is bursting with character and charm. “Revitalizing this property was a demonstration of our love for the place, each other, and our family,” says owner Paul Moriarty, who took on the massive project with his immediate and extended family of friends and employees. The huge exterior timbers and boulders create an impressive, yet warm and welcoming impression. Inside, the beautifully decorated spaces leave no detail to chance. Each room is perfect, just waiting for you to put your finishing touches on it to make it uniquely yours.
